Robert Vanman is a successful entrepreneur who has founded two previous companies, the second of which became an Inc. 500 company. He went on to become an owner/partner of Applied Concepts (Stalker Radar) which, under his tenure, grew into the number one police radar manufacturer in the U.S. In 2002, Mr. Vanman sold his interest in Stalker Radar and founded WatchGuard Video. Mr. Vanman is a leader focused on excellence, innovation, and on serving the company’s employees and customers. His passion for excellence permeates the entire company; from elegant and sophisticated product designs to passionate customer service that is intended to exceed the customer’s expectations. He has been awarded 10 patents and has 11 additional patents pending.
Mr. Coffman brings extensive management success and leadership experience to WatchGuard, having previously served as President of Wasp Barcode Technologies and most recently, as Chief Operating Officer of First Cash Financial Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: FCFS). As a graduate of Texas A&M, Mr. Coffman began his career as a business consultant with Deloitte & Touche. During Mr. Coffman’s tenure at Wasp Barcode and First Cash, both companies’ revenue and profitability grew significantly under his leadership. Steve is a passionate and down-to-earth leader who pursues excellence and works diligently to achieve operational efficiency and corporate growth.
Jason began serving the law enforcement industry in 1999 while studying at St. Cloud State University. In 2004, while pursuing what quickly turned into a beloved career, Jason moved to Jacksonville, FL, and eventually rounded out nearly 7 years of service in the law enforcement vehicle lighting industry. There he built key experience and success in Operations, Support, Sales and Sales Management. In 2006, Jason made the jump to digital in-car video, at what was then a young, up-and-coming manufacturer, WatchGuard Video, where he became the Regional Sales Manager in the State of Florida. In 2008, after 2 successful years in the field, Jason relocated to WatchGuard Video’s headquarters to assume the position of Technical Sales Director, where he developed and cultivated several key accounts, assisted with project management, and supported the advancement of product development. In 2012, through diligence and a passion to excel, Jason earned the position of Vice President of Sales, where he serves with a top-talent team of executives while leading the strategic initiatives of Sales and Marketing for WatchGuard Video.
VP, Global Business Development
Ken Teese brings to WatchGuard Video his experience and background in research, technology, sales, and management. For 23 years he served in domestic and international sectors of the health care industry. Beginning in research engineering, he worked for the largest U.S. hearing instrument manufacturer developing new designs, testing and evaluating new products. He moved into management leading a team of engineers while overseeing both domestic and international product development. He then gained sales experience and played key roles in product strategy while working for a European based company selling sub-miniature acoustic devices and electro-mechanical components both domestically and in collaboration with international colleagues and customers. Ken brings to WatchGuard Video this background of research and understanding of technology along with his experience in sales and management combined with a passion to excel.
VP, Service and Support
Mark McHenry comes to WatchGuard Video with a successful 11 year career at Informatics, Inc. While at Informatics he was Product Support Manager using his technical abilities as a Software Engineer and IT Manager to provide the finest Customer Support in their industry. Mark has also developed the models and infrastructure for other Product Support departments at Wasp Technologies US, Wasp Technologies Europe and SystemID Warehouse which are all divisions of Informatics, Inc. WatchGuard Video was very fortunate to obtain the services of Mark whose dedication to Customer Service is a real passion. He is a passionate customer advocate which is directly aligned with the business philosophy of WatchGuard Video.
Ted Hajec comes to WatchGuard Video with an extensive background in the arena of electronic and technical manufacturing, procurement, and product delivery. Ted’s experience spans from AT&T Technologies, Lucent Technologies, Celion Networks, Celestica, and Tyco Electronics in the capacity of Manufacturing Operations Manager to Director of Operations. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Science in engineering and Global Operations Management. Ted’s expertise and experience enhances and compliments the team of professional engineering and producing the WatchGuard Video product line.
David "Russell" Walker
CPA Chief Financial Officer
Russell Walker joined WatchGuard Video in 2005 with 12 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with the last 6 years as a controller for a medium sized company. Russell is a Certified Public Accountant who received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Russell’s broad range of experience in all areas of accounting and finance has given him the ability to manage the financial affairs and banking relationships for WatchGuard Video.
Inside Sales Manager
Kathy graduated from Southern University Agricultural and Mechanical College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a degree in Business Management. Kathy brings over fifteen years of sales experience, including six years with the In-Car-Video for Law Enforcement industry. Kathy’s sales career began with the sale and support of Optoelectronic components for military, space, medical & industrial applications, where she experienced continuous sales growth in her territory. During her fifteen years of experience she has lead teams to exceed revenue and profit goals. Kathy has been a top performer in her various roles as Sales Representative, Business Development Representative, Account Manager, Sales Team Manager, and Forecasting & Market Analytics. Kathy has a proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar growth.
National Sales Director
Steve graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management. He started his career in sales with Carnation, selling to institutions in the Twin Cities market. After three years of sales growth, he transferred companies and went to work for Honeywell, moving to Iowa. Mr. Teese has worked for Honeywell International over 20 years, in a number of different roles, all in the sales arena. Steve has been a top performer, finishing number 1 in the south, the last two years with them. Also during his 20 years with Honeywell, he has been a manager, a sales trainer, and led four new product developments that contributed over $30 million in new revenue.
Technical Sales Director
Marc joined WatchGuard Video in January of 2006 as the Regional Sales Manager for the Lower Northeast Territory. His background in security camera sales and computers made him an ideal candidate to build this new territory for WatchGuard. Marc quickly grasped the technology, along with the demands of the industry, and immediately became committed to serving the law enforcement community. Marc spent more than two years developing and implementing a successful sales strategy, and in August of 2008 he moved to Florida to manage the Southeast Territory. During his four years in the Southeast, Marc was able to build on the prior success of this territory and helped WatchGuard maintain its position as the leading in-car video manufacturer utilized throughout the law enforcement industry. In July of 2012 Marc relocated to WatchGuard Video Headquarters in Allen, Texas to assume the position of Technical Sales Director. Marc’s key roles and responsibilities include bid and RFP responses, contract and project management, as well as various responsibilities with product management and training.
Adam joined WatchGuard Video in October of 2011 with 8 years of proven experience in Integrated Marketing with a range of abilities that reach from Creative Project Management to the development of Strategic Communications and Marketing plans. Prior to joining WatchGuard Video, Adam managed marketing and communications efforts for the largest camping organization in the world, attracting nearly 20,000 guests annually in the US alone. Upon assuming the Marketing role, Adam helped to reverse a three-year attendance decline with three consecutive years of positive growth at a time when most camps were in decline. Adam holds a B.S. in Business Marketing from Liberty University. His core responsibilities at WatchGuard include day-to-day management of all marketing activity, tradeshows and Public Relations. Adam is a dedicated creative who seeks to propel the message of WatchGuard Video to the forefront of the Law Enforcement Technology industry.
