Job Title: Sales Support Representative

Reporting To: Sales Support Manager

Overview

The Sales Support Representative will work closely with Inside Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers for the purpose of sales support and customer service. This includes answering inbound telephone calls to the WatchGuard Video Sales department, order entry, preparing customer quotes, and responding to general customer and prospect information requests for sales literature and product feature presentations.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Answer inbound calls and manage sales opportunities as presented by callers.
  • Route service and other non-sales calls to the appropriate department or person.
  • Respond to prospect and RSM requests for quotes with accuracy and in a timely manner. (All quotes must be delivered to prospects within 24 hours of the time received unless otherwise specified.)
  • Communicate with customers and RSMs regarding order status using company electronic tools and other resources.
  • Enter all orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.

Education Requirements

  • High school graduate.

Professional Skills

  • Reply professionally to customers regarding order issues such as delivery delays.
  • Ability to work independently using good judgment, yet not afraid to ask for help.
  • Organized and able to multi-task.
  • Work well with others within the sales department and other departments.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship skills.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft CRM and Great Plains is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software.

Other Requirements

  • Maintenance of tools for quote creation and order entry. Communicate needed changes or updates to ensure accuracy in quotes and orders.
  • Stay informed on new products and prices. Communicate part and price list changes to relevant parties. Make part and price lists readily available.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good general computer and typing skills.
